I initially trained to be a dentist but decided that looking into mouths all day was not for me, so in 1990 I began accountancy training in Liverpool, qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1997.
I am a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. The association is a global body that for over 100 years has provided world class accounting and finance qualifications. These are gained through a rigorous series of examinations, coupled with demanding experience criteria.
Although I have always worked in the company behind the scenes, my main job was as a teacher in a local school. However, in September 2020 I took the plunge and moved to working full time for NGS Accountancy Ltd.
I focus on bookkeeping, administration, client liaison and accounts production.
I am usually the first person you speak to on the phone.
